What do you mean edit the songs? Your ipod isn't letting you see the songs on itunes? If that's happening, something's way wrong with your itunes. If you're talking about editing titles, you just have to click on the title itself (sometimes it takes a couple tries). If you could be more specific, I could try to help a little more. Good luck though!

Edit: You can't see the songs on your ipod? Have you synced your ipod to the computer (with the cable) and updated it? If you haven't, do so, and that should fix the problem. Another possibility is if itunes has lost the info on the song. You can figure out if it has by clicking on a song (that won't show up), and if it has lost the info, an exclamation mark will pop up next to it (on the left). That usually happens if you haven't saved your music in the 'My Music' folder of your computer. If you haven't do so. Then right-click the song and hit Get Info and browse til you find the song/cd. That should solve that problem. But if neither of these possibitlities are right, then something's wrong with your ipod, and I would probably bring it into an Apple store and see if someone there can help you. I hope this helps! Good luck!
