First when you wipe after urinating - wipe from front to back-young ladies are very susceptible to bacterial invasions -your soap maybe too strong for your skin type down there -thus causing odors from your area rejecting the soap- cotton under ware are good but don't wear them too tight - in such a case pick up some panty-shields and change them maybe twice a day to stay dry and odorless."SUMMERS EVE" has a very broad range of feminine products - wash soap - cleansing cloths - deodorant spray etc..
If you cannot afford all the products - start out using the spray that eliminates "odors" and keep you dry - before trying the products try using a separate cloth for down there and a non perfumed soap.

It could be a number of things but to make sure go let your doctor check it out. Different food and beverages can change the odor there too. During the meantime your drug store carries different feminine odor wipes and/or powders. Also try vinegar/water douches every 4 or 5 days. Good luck.

DON'T DOUCHE!!! The odor is a sign of infection - get to the doctor. Douching is only going to make things a LOT worse and might also interfere with the diagnosis. This is not something to treat on your own - go to the doctor ASAP.

Stop menstrual odor before it has a chance to start. If you use pads, change them more frequently. Or you can try using tampons, which collect the menstrual fluid inside your body and can reduce odor significantly.

diet and hygene once you have ruled out infection..to check for infection; stick finger all the way in, pull out; if the *tip* of your finger smells, infection; if it doesn't, it could just be you're sweating too much or poor diet.

You might try one of the vinegar douches that are sold over the counter in drug stores and discount stores. You probably have an infection of some sort. If the douche doesn't help, see your doctor.
