What is the current law regarding Muslim women wearing burqas (veils that cover the face) on their ID picture?

Burqas are the full body veils that have holes for the woman's eyes. I had just heard on the news a while ago that a lady filed a lawsuit because the DMV did not let her get her ID picture taken because her face was being covered. What's the current law on that?

It depends on the state. I believe most States will not allow the burqas because it hides the face. That is the idea of the picture drivers license. It is so they can see your face. I was asked to remove my hat the last time I had my picture taken.This lady is probably suing on religious ground but she will lose. The license has to show your full face.
