Dear Barbara and Jenna,
you are two young modern women with execellent social background. I like to see some hidden news, where it is reported that you both are doing social engagement for poor people and to fight aids. This is very good, indeed, but you both have incredible good education and probably best contacts around the world.
Why don´t you use your time different ? I guess you could collect much more money than others for charity. Indeed i believe that it is simply more efficient if you help to raise funds and not necessary spend your time at the emergency spots. This is a question about time management. From my point of view, i believe that within the time you spend for volunteer work, you could have been able to raise funds to pay several helpers for those in need. I have no doubts that you two could raise within days the money necessary to pay a regular employee for the work you did, for a much longer period, than doing it yourself.

maybe some got me wrong, for sure both aren´t ,members of this board, but in general statistic, someone will read, who know them or at least work with them
so i do not want to crtisize their engagement. Everyone who volunteers to help others is doing a great job.
But especially those two could do it more efficient. Why spend 3 or 6 month at a hospital, when you could collect withhin days enough money to hire a regular worker for a year or longer. This makes no sense to me why the young ladies just do not use their contacts.
And well if some readers point out, that the Clintons are doing it different, this is exactly what i mean. Expresident Clinton could have also stayed somewhere in Africa to serve as volunteer in a hospital, but instead he collected really billions of money and so used his time much more efficient and therefore he helped several times more people.
I am convinced that several republicans would support a initiative with one dollar or more, if they ask.

now the twins are doing volunteer work, this means they get no salary, but if they would do a regular job, they would get money, that they could donate for charity
so if an average american gets 18 $ per hour he could spent this money in order to hire someone to work 3-5 hours in Africa to work at an aids camp (average salary in plenty third world countries is 3 Dollar or less)
This means for 8 ours of work in the US you will be able to hire one for 24-40 hours in the third world
In a 24 work days month you could hire already one for 72-120 days
In 6 month you already could hire some for 24-30 months.
But now they work at the emergency spot themself, this means that it is not efficient, because they could do more when working here and hiring someone where he is needed. This would create a new job and the help would last several times longer
And i am sure you will agree that first twins would get more than 18 $ per hour in the US. So why don´t they do it different?
