Depends on size of earthquake.
Small earthquake= jostled cars, broken glass(maybe), toppled plants and small items that aren't bolted down.
Large earthquake= fires(gas lines break and leak), small flooding(ruptured water lines), turned over cars, broken glass(from windows of buildings), larger scale things fallen over, broken streets. (I'm a year older than your sister. Sorry if my answer doesn't please.)
