Mix cornstarch with water and paint paper with it. Let dry. Put iodine on palm and work up a sweat. Then press palm to paper. What will happen?

In solution, iodine and cornstarch will turn a dark purplish-black color. I would expect a similar thing would happen on your hand. (Working up a sweat is necessary to get some water on your hand so that you can get the same solution chemistry going.)

I assume that it's asking you to put some iodine solution on your hand, not solid iodine! That would be a bad idea because pure I2 is pretty corrosive.
