when does a fetus start to feel pain?

throughout the whole pregnancy your fetus could feel pain, thats why its best to make your fetus as happy as you are so it dont feel in any pain

So what do the people that say a fetus cant feel pain, say about a premature baby? They think that as soon as the baby is born it magically feels? A premature baby at 24 weeks of age when it has a chance of living outside the womb, can feel. So Im sure it can feel inside the womb too. Pain receptors begin to form at 8 weeks gestation. When you poke a baby in the womb it retracts from what you are trying to poke it with and it reacts to the pain. They have videos of these things and also have former abortion doctors and nurses that have testified to it.

At least 20 weeks. The nervous system starts to develop in the early months but the cortex isn't sufficiently developed to feel pain until after 20 weeks. A fetus before this time can react to different stimuli, but doesn't yet feel pain.

well, i guess before the thirs trymester because on a partial birth abortion they pull the top of the neck in the back out just enough to cut its spinal cord but not enough to where you can hear the scream of pain - they keep the little fellas mouth in the womb to keep things quieter

it's illegitimate to use the possibility of pain as a way of trying to prevent abortion from occurring, because the possibility of pain doesn't exist.
