Of course they made some difference, but folks need to think
for themselves . I have noticed that blacks in general do not go
out of their way to help each other like Jews, etc. have gone
through a rough time, but have supported one another.

Rosa was a stubborn old lady who just did what anyone with some balls should have done. So she was brave, great we need more like her to stand up for equality. Now Martin was a pathetic man that i am amazed still has such a good reputation, he was paid by white people to go preach Ghandis principles of non-violence to black people so they wouldnt revolt against the government (a near civil war) now we are here and from my point of view, blacks have the shaft still stuck up their a** by white people. Not that i think you can force someone to respect someone else but we still do not have any sort of equality. I live in Birmingham Alabama and we still have completley segregated schools, the black schools are trashy and the white schools are amazingly new and clean. I am white by the way...

I think Rosa Parks made a difference for everyone. I am not so sure about Martin Luther King Jr. I think he made it worse

No. Apparantely not because Martin Luther Kind advocated peace and trying to move up in the community. It sickens me that his dream is still not fulfilled.

Black people have taken violence to the next level now. It wasn't like that back then. Yes, there is no longer legal segregation. There is black on black violence. Gangs everywhere. (Yes I' aware it's not only blacks). Most black people don't make it out of the ghetto(where slavery has obviously placed them).

You know why? Because they constantly resurrect the idea of slavery. Everytime a black person doesn't get their way.."Oh it's the white man's fault! Oh see they tryna keep us in slavery, I give up! I don't need to work with them!"

At this point they return to the ghetto and stay there and the sad cycle continues. This is not Martin Luther King's Dream. This is not progress. THIS is..."Mental Slavery."

No. Kindness will always exist. People will always know to be kind to one another because the capacity can be encouraged. The south is a place where people are generally hard hearted. It hasn't changed. And it doesn't matter if they're black or white, they're identical.
