I'm not sure why it happens, but i think it is really freaky. My mother sleepwalks and has night terrors where she screams and fights in her sleep. It is really scary. Most people who sleepwalk do "normal" daily things in their sleep like eat, walk around the house, etc.. My mom used to watch over us while we slept with her eyes shut! I talk alot in my sleep, but have yet to walk.

They usually get back in bed, and sleep it off!
I don't know that anyone really knows why it happens, and how!
