Maybe it's because they see someone who thinks a college degree is a substitute for character, discipline and ability.

In the Land of Opportunity, it is important to remember that an employment opportunity is for all- meaning, competition. Employers view a college degree as a bonus, occasionally a requirement. But that surely isnt all their looking at. Consider your resume, appearance, interviewing skills, personable skills, teamwork ethic, and the job itself. Does it match your degree?
While a college degree is an excellent thing to have, its not all you need. For great information on jobs and advice, visit www.cnn.com, and click on "Business". From there, you can view lists of interviewing advice, top rising jobs, top companies to work for, and even a job-search option.
Best of luck to you and your job search!

It's your personality. Remember they are probably hiring you based on how well they think you will fit in more than your qualifications. If you are likeable and can learn fast, that will probably get you hired faster than any degree from any college in the world. Spend the money and work with an image coach, like TV personalities. Really, I'll bet you get a job soon, then. If you have trouble getting along in the office after that, see a counsellor.

You and many, many others. It's called outsourcing dear. Way too many US jobs go overseas to Third-World countries.
Do not request a certain amount as starting salary. Send a very creative but true resume which should make your prospective employer believe that you are a definite asset to their business.

Yes. Maybe you are not presenting yourself right. See if you can get some help writing a resume, and practicing your interviewing skills. If you do not have any experience, volunteer some where and place that on your resume. If all else fails get a temp job ,to atleast build your experience.

many employers want experience. sometimes to get your foot in the door go to a temporary service and work for awhile to get experience and then you can be hired straight from there or you can use this for future employment opportunities.
