Yes, it is meant to exfolliate the top layers of dead skin cells using a microdermabrasion machine which blasts tiny crystals onto your skin. If you have the whole facial experience with it, it's very nice and relaxing. The microderm itself feels a little like a cat licking your face. Your face might be a little shiny and red for an hour or so, but not sore. Be sure that a licensed esthetician or a medispa performs it.

i've got had microderms earlier. this is a strange tingly/scratchy feeling, even nonetheless it would not harm. i did no longer incredibly observe seen consequences and that i had 4 finished. i did no longer think of it grew to become into properly well worth the $a hundred and fifty I spent in step with clinical care. while you're prepared to place down some money for a clinical care, circulate to a good spa, come across a solid facialist and ask for a lactic peel. those I have been given have been $seventy 5 in step with clinical care (for purchasers...i'm a recep. at a salon and spa and have been given mine loose). I noticied very seen consequences with that one. There are countless categories of chemical peels, however the lactic is solid for women folk of shade (i'm asian) and particularly evens dermis tone and lightens hyperpigmentation.

I use an at home kit that uses the same crystals as they do in a drs office. It's a lot cheaper, too. Try it before you go into a doctors and pay the big bucks and end up with a red face for a few days.

not by the professionals, but i have used the oil of olay microbrasion system and i love it! it's rough on your skin, like sandpaper, but afterwards your skin feels soft.
