Hey there Nashville! I live there too!

How about a Hawaiin Luau? It's fun for all ages and can be done on a low budget. You can get little tiki straws, hula skirts, etc. Make it a Luau on the "beach" too. If your parents will allow it, crank the heat WAY up to make it hot hot hot and have a small wading pool and beach balls. (FYI, I attended a party like this when I was 16, complete with sunglasses and summer gear, and it was one of the funnest parties I ever went to!)

Happy birthday in a few months! Well, if you have lots of gal friends you could have a chick flick marathon; go bowling (It's a great teen activity, in my opinion, and usually pretty cheap); go hang out at a park and play Ultimate Frisbee or soccer... good luck!

rent a limo and go to your favorite restaurant or something. that's what i did for my 16th birthday and i took my best friends. the limo made it soooo much fun. my birthday is in december and even though it was cold, we rode around knoxville standing out the sunroof. we got all dressed up and it was great!
