Save the WHALES?

How do I help save the wales? I mean, they'er dieing right and left! Does anyone know what I can do to help conserve the whales? I know there are other problems, but I wanna help the whales!

There are several things you can do: 1 - contact your government representatives and urge them to vote for stricter environmental laws. 2 - Search for, join, and actively participate in environmental groups (there are many out there - GreenPeace being one of the most well known) that focus on whales. 3- Educate yourself on this issues involved with this, then, depending on your age, availability, etc., see about starting a grassroots movement in your area to collect money, etc. to help places that work toward the resolution of this issue. 4 - Depending on where you live (i.e. if you live near the ocean and/or fishing facilities) see what can be done about contacting local industries regarding what they are doing to reduce pollution in the oceans and/or practicing good fishing habits.
5 - Do your part to stem global warming...some of the problems with the oceans and, ultimately, the whales, stems for this man-caused phenomenon. 6 - Start or join a Yahoo! Group regarding this matter, that way you can plug into what is being done on a global scale, and what still needs doing. Hope these are helpful

I don't think you can do much directly, but perhaps join a campaign, an activist group, educate the community. That sort of thing, you know how the more people there are, the more influence you have sort of thing?
