In the summer, you could work as a gold caddy, corn detassler or other similar agricultural jobs. You could also go into business yourself, and become the classic "Babysitter", but dress it up. Make an attractive flyer, and refer to yourself as a "Child Care Service" for your babysitting business. When you are 14, the labor laws open up quite a few doors for success in the world of employement.
'm 14, and what people don't understand is that 14 is the age where you no longer mow lawns and babysit. It is the minimum age to get a job.
Here are some suggestions:
-Grocery Store Bagger/ Caryout
-Fast Food (McDonalds, Wendys etc.)
-Independently owned businesses (Mom & Pop stores will usually hire young people as cashiers, stockers etc., )
-Newspaper Carrier
-Restaurant (Dishwasher etc.)
ALSO try the carts at a mall, those little specialty shops in the main hall, those are owned by ordinary schmoes, who usually need some help.
hope this helps!!!

Talk to friends and neighbors. People are getting charged ridiculous rates for cleaning and yardcare and such all the time. If you become known as a responsible, reliable youngin there shouldn't be any lack of work.
It doesn't sound like much, but I've never known anybody worth a hoot that didn't start with the unglamorous, low paying hard jobs. How you handle doing the things you need to do but don't really want to will define you more than all the cushy jobs in the world could.

You could be a baby sitter. That's nothing like a prostitue, stripper or pole dancer. But since you are 13 and just throwing those words around - I don't know that I would hire you to sit with my kids.
Good luck.

You could become a child prostitute in Malasia! HAHAHA! Just kidding. You're pretty much stuck with doing services for adults you know, like babysitting, housework, yardwork. Sorry hun.

Put yourself out there as a babysitter and find as many folks as you can. You could call daycare centers and ask if they would maybe put up flyers for you. Then, once people ask you to work for them, you need to be a complete professional so that you'll have plenty of repeat business and referrals.

You live in Detroit, kid? You shouldn't know about prostitutes, etc. Get a job at Dairy Queen.
