'Skeleton' means all the bones in an animal, usually attached to each other. 'Human skeleton' is the 206 bones that hold up the bodies of human animals.
Bones are mostly made of minerals -- like stones, because they have to be hard, and strong, to hold up the muscles and other weight of the body. Since they are hard, they sometimes break. The most important mineral in most animal (including human) bones is calcium.
To keep human bones strong and healthy, humans need to eat or drink calcium and other minerals. This is especially important for children, whose bones are growing, and elderly people, whose bones can get weak.
A good way to get calcium is by drinking milk, eating cheese, and from other dairy products.
Inside the hard outsides of bones, there is something called the 'bone marrow'. This is not hard, like stone. This is where blood cells for the body are made.
This is true for all animals in the class called 'mammals', of which humans are one.

A human skeleton is a human body down to the bare bones.
300 bones make up our skeleton when we are born, but this reduces to 206 by the time we are adults

It is the framework for your body, made from calcium. All the bones in the skeleton are rigid but have flexible material called cartilage at the joints so you can move.
