The man has been on trial almost a year if not more, don't you think that it's about time to have a verdict?
No I don't think that the republicans or the democrats had or could have any sway of when the verdict was given.
I will say this, notice how the terrorists attacks killing our troops in Iraq jumped to a record high in October. I would bet that it was because of the elections of November 7th!
Also the terrorist leaders said that Americans should vote Democrat. What's that tell you?!

I disagree, the verdict on Saddam meant nothing to the election, the out come was a given from the time they found him hiding in his hole.

Probably another thing we'll never know for sure. But it sure is wishy washy. I mean come on, The republicans knew they were up for a battle and with their image on the line, what better image shine-up then hanging Saddam? (Catching Osama Bin Laden would have been better, but we know now that will never happen)

No - it just worked out that way, although it probably did benefit Bush more than the Democrats.
There were also US soldiers kiled that day - was that part of plot to discredit Bush ? No, I don't think so either.
