Keep this straight now for your upcoming test:
Federalists believed that the national central government was sovereign and all powerful.
Anti-Federalists were against that philosophy and believed that the states were sovereign and superior to the central federal government.
Hamilton was one of the leading proponents and advocates of the Federal government and its powers. He was an outspoken Federalist who was specifically interested in creating a central bank at the federal level for the young United States.
Jefferson was an arch advocate for States Rights believing at first that the federal government was inferior to the government bodies in the state. This made Tom Jefferson the leading anti-federalist.
Ther terms Hamiltonians and Jeffersonians are only recently developed by modern political scientists over the last 125 years.
If you want to learn some REALLY interesting facts about the back room deals that helped establish our government, read a book titled "Founding Brothers", It is an interesting and easy read. You'll learn about why Washington DC was located where it is today and how slavery was allowed to remain legal thereby setting the stage for our Civil War.

Ok, don't listen to that chick, someone didn't pay attention in history class. Federalists and Jeffersonians would be a better term for searching. Jeffersonians, named after Jefferson's political view, were more about the people, agriculture society, and basically the way everyone thought America should be. Federalists were typically slave owners, the focused on a more industrial society, or Hamilton's thoughts on the way things should be.

You need to do your own reading and thinking about the Federalists and the Bill of Rights, the Alien and Sedition Act, and a military for smoothing over any "internal" disturbances.
Some people have their own opinions through whatever they took out of history class (and the first person isn't too far off, if you can handle the truth).

Federalists would be proud of the stupid Patriot Act and the illegal wiretapping and holding all those detainees without any real cause.
Oh, but it's to protect us...from what, we just don't know yet.
