Not sure about that last comment though...if he was so doomed against a single minded opponent in the business realm, than wouldn't he have already gone bankrupt from other opponents?...Tony has the technology and basis to be financially stable and does have ties to the military seeing as how he makes them weapons, with his foot in the door, could he not single handedly eliminate Trask's ability to use U.S funding to generate his Sentinels?...and by this time, it sorta is pointless to even debate the fact. Sentinels become nullified with the introduction of the Ultimates and the Avengers themselves. Why bother spending millions upon millions of dollars on robots, when there already is a fighting squad capable of taking out most if not any mutant?...Anyways, Bolivar Trask high intelligent manipulative individual, but so is Tony Stark, who faced with his decaying inner self and body, seems to be losing some sort of edge, but comparing Trask to Stark is like comparing the Silver Surfer to Galactus. Tony has too many friends in extremely high places for Trask to be even a minute threat to him.

Trask, (that is if you are not involving Iron Man). Trask is focused on self gain, Tony's focus is split, business, Avengers, personal life, and that's when he isn't drinkng. Tony may be smarter, and better but faced with a single purposed opponent in the business world, he is doomed.
