thinking of giving iPod nanos to my wedding party.
but want to etch a message on it.
how much will Apple etch on them? cost?
what 3rd party people do etching?

i think it costs nothing. you can go to www.apple.com , fake buy an ipod nano, and they will ask if you want to etch them. and you can find out the price by that.
but i believe the etching is for free.

If you buy directly from the Apple Store, the laser etching is free!! They will also tell you the number of characters you are limited too. When you type in your message, it will also show you a preview of what it will look like! Have fun and congratulations on the wedding!!
