Dear Next,
Food does not help.
A new lover does not help.
Shopping does not help.
People mean well but they don't help.
The ONLY thing that helped me to heal from a very broken heart was to read the Bible from cover-to-cover. I got laid off from my job after my husband of more than 20 years filed for divorce. There was no work available in the area and I got 15 weeks of severance pay so I proceeded to read The Daily Walk Bible.
It was so good I couldn't put it down and I finished it in 90 days. The divorce still went through shortly after our 25th anniversary but I was able to heal. The Bible showed me how much my heavenly Father really loves me and better yet, He is not fickle.
Are you familiar with The Father's Love Letter by Barry Adams? It is quite beautiful and I'd be happy to paste it and or the link if you are interested.

Have a good cry about it. Give yourself a treat like new haircut, visit beauty salon for some pampering, get a good massage. do some retail theraphy. Go out with single friends. Do some volunteer work with people who are really less fortunate and taking time out to hear other people's problems will make you appreciate yours weren't so bad and when you are able to smile again things will get better. He/she may even come running back worryingt why you are not sitting at home crying over them. Your confident smile could lure a special new partner. Hugs.

Hang out with your friends! that always makes someone feel better from a broken heart. Go shopping. Get really involved in whatever activity you're doing so you don't think about it. Good Luck!

Well time heals it but at the moment you think your are dying but call on your close friends and they will help you through this time of need. Believe me when a new guy comes along and you think it will never happen again it will and boy the second one is always better looking than the other one and you want even remember his name. Good Luck

Keep occupied. Make friends. Hang out with friends. Volunteer in charitable activities. help others and most of all, stay away for sappy music.
Time is not what heals all wound. What we do in that time is what heals wounds. No matter what happens in life, we always have to move on.
