You should probably see a doctor about this pain.

You obviously need some advice about pain relief.
Depending on the cause you might need some antibiotics.

This sort of pain could be due to a number of conditions:

complications of pregnancy
- ectopic pregnancy
- ovarian cyst
hernia
infections
- urinary
- vaginal
- pelvic inflammatory disease
- gastroenteritis
- diverticulitis
skin conditions
- eczema
- shingles
- skin infections (sebaceous cyst, boils, cellulitis, erysipelas)

You should go see a doctor. You may have a urinary tract infection. Does it hurt more when you go to the bathroom? Do you have to go frequently? If so, it just may be UTI. See your doctor don't let this go. It could get severe. Also, drink a lot of water and cranberry juice.

It can be something very serious. But it can also be a simple infection that antibiotics could take care of. Either way, you need to get it checked out by a doctor.

You could have pulled a groin muscle. It really would be a good idea to have your doctor check it out. Until you can get in to see him/her try a heating pad on the area.

Shooting pain is often a sign of endometriosis. It can also be caused by ovarian cysts or uterine fibroids.

Hi there,

It might be fibroids...you should definately see your GYN. If anything, call an "advice nurse" if you have access to one through your insurance. Good luck.

I wouldn't mess with that. Could be a simple infection, but you want to get it checked out.
