Why is it that all the perverted, egotistic, selfish guys email me in yahoo answers, and not the nice, decent guys who I like?? Recently I got messages from a guy who has been chatting with me for some time because he's looking for a WIFE (potentially me) and he was always giving me hints at that, and the disgusting part is that he's 30 and I'm 18! Can you believe it! I've talked to some other guys and some of them seem nice but, most of them are old except for one, and he seems to be a very decent guy, but that's only one guy compared to all the 100 perverts! Why is that I can't seem to connect to nice guys but seem to lure the bad ones!!?? Why is that nice guys never take me seriously even though I'm serious, (well, most of the time)?

I think that part of the problem is that a lot of guys just dont have respect for women, or they disrespect thinking that they are cool and they are not even putting the shoe on the other foot because if they were being sincere and some women started bashing them I dont think that they would like to be treated like that. Well Positive I really hate to be the bearer of bad news but this probably isn't the proper forum to be seeking out potential mates. Anyone can tell you anything or be whoever they want on this machine so please be very careful. A young girl your age should be out having a blast with some gal pals or chums and not rotting away in front of the screen hoping to meet Mr. Right. You are probably not exaggerating that much when you say for every 100 there is only 1 decent guy. Be careful of what type of information etc. that you give to these fellas as there are a lot of perverts who think of themselves as God's gift to women and they might do anything to contact you. Geez I sound like a really old man giving out this advice but it is the truth. Best of luck to you.

Well that depends on how you talk to them. what do you talk about? how do you say things? are you giving any possible hints that your interested (maybe on accident)? If you keep getting these e-mails dont answer them. It might seem a little disrespectful but i think it could be at the point where you need to watch out for your safety. If you know a guy is bad or way older than youd like, ignore it. people come in different ways, watch for the guy that doesnt really parade his presence, but is quiet and thoughtful before he talks (if you can recognize it, its not easy). Patience is the key. i hope this helps!

Even the ones who seem nice and say they are young could be older and not so nice. It's an unfortunate fact of life that, for every 99 jerks out there, there is only one jem of a man worthy of a good woman's heart. That's not to say you should discount a man purely because of age, and some of these guys could even think you are older than you are, not knowing the truth. All in all, cut them some slack, but don't be too quick to jump in the sack.

Maybe its the way u address and advertise urself. If you want to get the right guys then all u have to do is look hard enough Mr. Right will pop up one day. Why nice guys never take u seriously i have no clue sry. Maybe its because they dont see themselves with a girl like u.

Looking for a "nice guy" online is hard. Most guys online are after one thing. If you're looking for Mr. Right,don't do it online. You are 18,so looking for love online should be your LAST resort. Go out,go dancing..go hang out with your friends. If you really want to meet a guy,go hang out at places you enjoy,that way..you know you will share similiar interests. Nice guys are out there,you just have to take some time,and really look. They're out there.

How about this, hide your e-mail address and then you won't have to worry about it every again. You are really setting yourself up to receive some scary stuff. Just stay anonymous and that should take care of it.
