a teracotta pot upside down is a good cheap place for them to lay there eggs or you can buy a breeding pot you can leave the parents with the eggs but they may eat them the first few times but they will get it eventually also your better off having a bear bottom tank with just the filter heater (set to 30 degrees celcius) and the breeding pot if you do decide to take the parents out you then have to treat the water with methane blue and have a strong bubble but not right up against the fish hope all this helps

Being in the ciclid family they will lay the eggs and protect them. They need a piece of slate leaning against the side of the tank or propped at about a 45 degree angle or steeper. When you see them picking it clean you will know they are getting ready. Before this happens they will go through their ritual and it will look like they are fighting. Leave then alone.

angelfish do not have live babies (i breed them). you can get a really cheep slate rock which is their fav. (Pet store) or a giant fake leaf, just keep in mind that the females usually lay the eggs in very neat lines so give her room. HOPE I HELPED!!!

All they really need is a good, flat piece of slate in the tank. Be sure to remove the parents right away. You need to have good air circulation going so the eggs don't get fungus. Be sure to remove any that do.

They have live babies. But all the fish in the tank, including the parents, will eat up your babies just as soon as they see them. (Finding Nemo is only a story!)
They need to be removed to their own tank, talk to the fish store for more info.
