Disagree entirely. It is pseudo-scientific and shows a misunderstanding, not only of evolution, but of science itself.
Evolution does not make value judgments. Only people make value judgments. An organism that survives is not 'better' than one that doesn't. That's not a scientific assessment, it is a moral one. An organism that survives is simply better adapted to a particular environment than one that doesn't.
To test how absurd the notion is, that 'better' organisms always survive, take a fish and a camel. Switch them environments. The camel might swim for a few hours and then drown. The fish will dry out in a matter of minutes. Neither is 'better' than the other. They're just better adapted to their environment.
So social Darwinism is nothing but an excuse to push a particular political agenda by misusing the scientific theory of evolution

Social Darwinism would be better called " social Spencerisim ", as Darwin wanted nothing to do with the ideas of Spenser. Darwin said, " If the situation of the poor be not do to natural selection but our institutions, great is our sin ". This pernicious doctrine was totally refuted by G. E. Moore, in his " Principia Ethica ", of 1903. The naturalistic fallacy he elucidated in his book was a direct attack on Spenser's ideas.

It's absolute b.s. A dangerous 'theory" used as a political vehicle by self serving demagogues. I don't think Charles Darwin himself would be happy with it. But it strikes me as amazing that many intellectuals has been adhering to it for such a long time, makes one wonder about their true orientations and motives. It's time to not just debunk it, but ridicule the ridiculous theory. Racial superiority and the white man's burden, give me a break!

No because it is a cruel series of principles. Society should be egalitarian so everyone can benefit from the world's resources.
