Unless the pins are externally fixated, they are yours forever and will show up on x-rays. they are made from surgical steel, and will not harm you in any way.
Stay away from MRI's though, or at least tell the radiologist you have pins before you have one done.

I broke my pinky finger and had pins when i was nine im 13 now and there still in there so 9/10 your keeping them. the heads that stick out ur finger will get remove without even a ache of pain but the pins are still inside.

Depends on how badly you broke it. If you smashed it to pieces, then you've got pins for life; if you just had a couple of fractures then they'll be out eventually.

no unless the pins are bothering you and hurting you then you can get them taken out after your wrist heald

They only remove them if a problem should arise. There is no harm leaving them in so that's what they normally do.

Nope they are yours. The only way they would is if there was a problem develope but, that is rare. Hope you feel better soon
