I am 18 weeks pregnant and when I sneezed earlier, I had this horrible pain in my pelvis. What could be the cause? Has anyone had this? Am I ok?

you are fine hun it is your body stretching when you sneeze. I still get like that sometimes and I am 24 weeks!

My wife had the same. Your pelvis is expanding, and the pressure you exerted when you sneezed cause the baby to shift further into your pelvis -- possibly just for a brief moment. I recommend getting a book called "What to Expect When Expecting". It was a staple for my wife and I during her pregnancy this year.

i had this happen to me...its just because the ligaments and muscles in your stomach are stretched, even though you may have felt the pain in your pelvis...you have nothing to worry about....but if there was a sudden burst of water or blood...call your doc or go to the hospital.

Your joints and ligaments may be loosening up for the pregnancy. I wouldn't be so concerned unless it gets extremely painful. Mention it anyways to your OB/Gyn at the next visit.

When your pregnant there is so much pressure that builds up down in your abdomen or down there in general s it's probably nothing bit if it continues definitely check with your doctor

yeah your fine, it could've been a wierd spasm in your belly that happened, but if the pain continues, go see a doc ASAP. Never take any chances.

Yeah same thing happened to me today too. It hurts because your ligments are being stretched already.

round ligament pain! ITS AWFUL, but almost all women experience it at some point. just ligaments stretching. you are ok!

im 15 weeks pregnant it happend to me today!!! im fine your not bleeding right?? then you should be fine the good lord made our bodys to withstand that stuff lol
