i am a hardware tech ..use this simple step
[Start]
[Run]
[Regedit]
Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
Modify/Create the Value Data Type(s) and Value Name(s) as detailed below.
Data Type: REG_DWORD [Dword Value] // Value Name: Autodisconnect
Value Data: [Enter a new disconnect time. Use Hexadecimal if you are unfamiliar with Binary]
Exit Registry and Reboot

Use GetRight to download files. Its got the option to remain connected if the system tries to disconnect.

Increase RAM to atleast 512 MB
Check internet connection, wire jack & wiring.
Dont open too many window at the same time.
Uninstall memory hogs like norton or mcafee, go for AVG Anti virus.
Install Ccleaner from ccleaner.com & remove cookies & other junk.
