Ok first of all I am NOT star struck, nor celebrity obsessed, or I just want this job.

With that in mind could you help me out here?

I have the skills, qualities, and experiences to be a Personal Assistant, however, I don't know anyone around here that is really close to someone wealthy or celebrity status. I only want this job because I have the integrity, skills, qualities, and motives to perform as an assistant. I read through one really good book and they had phone numbers to the major agencies, I called them and nervous, I think I sounded unprofessional and I doubt they'd call me back.

Any suggestions on where to start or who to contact? If you suggest the agency what do you suggest I ask them?

Thank you!

I think 8/10 people already have their personal assistant's in mind. It's a small circle they go to. I think it depends on your location, and who you know. For example if you live in North carolina it may me wise to move to the western part of the state near the nascar drivers, singers, and wrestlers. Basically it'll be a hard job to come by since people are stalkers these days. Good luck.

Call the nearest talent scout up and tell them you would like to work in their office or for anyone who needs a personal assistant.

Perhaps calling is not a good idea, writing would be better. Send a fantastic & professional resume with a nice photo of yourself, and see what happens.

Try working closely with some charities in your area. You might get to know someone via this work. Always good on your cv.
