1)Americans rank Iraq as the top priority of the new Democratic-controlled Congress
2)Three out of five say the party does not have a plan to deal with the war

Associated Press-Ipsos poll
Though voters apparently embraced the Democratic mantra of changing course in Iraq, a majority of the public did not detect a clear Democratic blueprint for ending the war. Fifty-seven percent of all adults said Democrats do not have a plan for Iraq; 29 percent said they do. The poll of 1,002 adults has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

The problem is not something we will get out of easily now that we are in it. What are the Democrats supposed to do draw up a blue print for disaster?
Since we can't muster the support for a full out war, we should learn the lesson of Vietnam and not fight with one hand tied.
So, end up with egg on our face and pull out. Just remember the Republicans started this war.
Also maybe now that they have the House, the Dems can do something to check the corruption of our current executive office - to me that is the number 1 priority. So I disagree with the first part of the poll.

Republicans took a large share of Iraq's oil, perhaps the Democrats will take a good share in the control of the Senate and the House of Representatives .
