trojan virus removal?

i have managed to get a trojan back door virus is there any good removal tools so i can destroy it from my computer

Before attempting to remove malware you must switch off System Restore as back up files will be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run your anti virus and anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

Then beef up your security. Its easier to prevent malware getting on to your sytem in the first place rather than trying to remove it. All the following programs are free for personal use;

You need to install one firewall.
The Windows firewall doesn't stop malware on your pc from dialling out.

A trojan is not a virus,just a means of extracting information and fooling you into something, hence the term "trojan" Get it?
Cough up and get a good real time scanner,it'll last you a lifetime and stop all the nonsense the whole world over... Get this into your head BILL GATES. Stop giving us useless crap that burns cd,dvd's and whotnot...jeez,you write this darn stuff SORT IT.

I know you don't want to hear this, but...

I think so many Windows computer security problems people have on Yahoo Answers could be solved by running Linux on their computers. Linux is now point-and-click, just like Windows, and does most everything Windows does. I know it may not be convenient to run separate Windows and Linux boxes, but that way you'll soon find out how good Linux is, and how secure - especially for surfing.

Try it - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :)
