up on a hill top as slick as glass,
a pale faced monkey was scratching his ---,
don't get excited don't get alarmed,

It was midnight on the ocean
Not a streetcar was in sight
For it had been raining hard
All day that night
It was a summer day in winter
And snow was raining fast
As a barefoot boy with shoes on
Stood sitting in the grass.
