Yeah, that happens to me...if a song makes me sad about a person and I don't want to be, I just turn the radio/song off. I definitely think certain songs can bring out your emotions for someone, past or present.

yes...whenever I listen to Christina Aguilera's "Hurt" it reminds me of me and my dad who died about 5 or 6 years ago and also the song that Kenny Chesney sings that's called "A lot of Things Different" is a total replay of my dad's lifes' regrets. it's crazy there are tons of songs that i connect with and I find how connect with too and I always tell them about it and it helps them and makes them feel special...hehe

Yeah.. that song Hurt by Christina Aguilara makes me cry cuz the song is actually about her Dad.. and it makes me think of my dad... he died when I was 12 :(
