Your tired of people who claim a heritage? Ok methinks you need to get out a bit more.

My parents were Brits , my grandparents were Brits, my great grandparents were Brits I am an Australian.

England was a very tribal culture at the time of the Roman invasions with the PIcts in England and the Celts and Scots in Scotland. people moved around and over the centuries many Scots moved to Ireland and the north of England.

Coupled with invasions from Normans( french) Saxons( germans) Romans( italy) and Vikings ( Scandenavia) it would be impossible to find a pure blood Pictish decended Britain.

These invading armies also went into Wales and even Ireland ( especially the vikings) so the blood has been mixed for generations . And if someone wants to be part something else so what!

that's a valid question. so a techniques as i will make out, the British flag flies on the island of england (alongside with England, Scotland and Wales. Many places in Northern eire fly it too, although the right next door you get the Republic of eire tricolour - yet then Northern eire is a minefield of political sensitivities so that you're to boot now to not designate it both Irish or British ....! i imagine there replaced into older Welsh flag that replaced into blanketed into the universal Union Jack. of course incorporating the dragon does not artwork contained in the universal Union Jack layout. contained in the Republic of eire we usually do not fly a Union Jack, except there is an authentic visit from a British authorities authentic. i don't think of that there is a few thing from eire contained in the universal Union Jack, because the Republic of eire is a diverse u . s .. i imagine that they fly it nonetheless in Commonwealth international locations and likely contained in the Channel islands and the Isle of guy and the islands off Scotland (Shetlands, Orkneys) - even though it will be to boot to ask natives of those places. i ask your self in case you'll have any takers. In Wales they might fly the dragon, sure, I have seen it. The Welsh are frequently very prepared to rigidity that they are British yet not English. not constructive about Scotland and both flags, or England. And to make sparkling: The Republic of eire has not been area of the united kingdom when you consider that 1922.

My family has been in America since the 1700's, give or take a hundred years. Most of my family came from Poland, but I've also got family that came from Spain, Russia, and Sweden.
My last name is polish, so I identify as that, but I know where I came from.
