When you added x to the right side, you should have gotten:

4 = x^2

Then take the square root of both sides to get

x = 2, -2

ok. x^2-5 = 0.
to find x you would add 5 to the other side which would give you x^2=5 then take the square root of both sides and x = the square root of 5

y = x^2 - x and y = 4 - x ... so...
x^2 - x = 4 - x ...
You are looking too far into this... just add 'x' to both sides...
x^2 = 4
x = 2 or x = -2

Hope this helps you!

When your having trouble with your home, and you've been working on it for a long time, just give up. Sometimes it's just plain better to take an F or an E, then to spend forever on it!
