a keep gettin sharp pains more on my left side of my stomach why is this?
is there anything a can take for it other than pain killers
it doesnt feel like my period pain it feels totally different

just under the rib cage but my whole stomach area has been gettin this it has just been more on the left side under the rib cage

check with your doctor. If the pains are really generalized, it's probably nothing, but if they are sharp, local pains, it could be a sign of something more serious.

When you say stomach, where do you mean? Relate it to your ribcage or bellybutton and I'll write back. The abdomen is a large area, and it's hard to say without more info.

Where you are talking about is the area where your pancreas lies, just below your stomach. Anything below that is your intestines. Behind the pancreas is your kidney. Does your low back hurt too? Does eating certain foods (wheat, dairy, acidic like oranges or tomatoes) aggravate it or is it constant?

Do you drink much alcohol? I used to get similar pains but heavy drinker, anyway might aswell well go for quick check at dr.
