do any of you have friends you dont really like?ive known this girl for years i used to share a flat with her brother (platonic) and she just sort of became a friend coming out with me and my other mates. its not that i dont like her or that she,s done anything bad to me i just cant be bothered with her.i think because she,s quite a lonely person i havent got the heart to cut ties with her.i find myself chatting on phone saying "missed you havent seen you for a while "when really i couldnt care less if i never see her again.what would you do?

oh yes i have many of these friends. but what i do is still be kind to them when they are around but pretty much ignore them when they are not. you should be kind to everyone, even if you don't like them. but if this girl keeps wanting to spend time with you, tell her you need some space for a little while then take her out places where she can meet some new friends!

I've had friends like this. If you say she is a lonely person maybe you shouldnt put her off. ppl need companionships, friendships etc. and if your the only one shes got, she thinks your the only one that cares.What ive done in these situations is tolerate her. She likes you a lot and no matter how you break it to her, you may hurt her. Put up with her! Your heart is in the right place, and its hard to put up with her or break it to her, but ultimatly think about whats best for both of you in the long run. Who knows, she may be one of the closest, most faithful friends you ever get. Best of wishes to you on your decision!

just cut it off if you arent happy. i know it is hard but someone has too. if you dont want to try to look at things in her point of veiw. why is she soo lonely. does she not have anyone to talk to ? does she not have any siblings? try to make it work. just try

its hard to say this but i have 2 friends like that no wait 3.... they r awsome sumtimes but sumtimes i know they talk bout me, i wish i could tell them to not be my friends but its hard, i wouldnt just go to her and say i dont want to be your friend snymore, you need to talk to her and then little by little go away and never call her that is the less painless way you can not be her frien, stop calling her and stop asking her to come out with you, if she calls you answer but just dont be unfriendly.

Be up front with your feelings and stop playing with this chic. If you can't stand being around her, you need to stop calling her with the fake "missed you".

Just slowly stop calling her and talking to her I'm the same way.

dont pretend....if you dont like her, try to avoid,..dont say cute stuff like i missed you etc. this makes her think u like and care about her...just try to avoid, be more cold....idk
