ATP expelling water. Glucose is broken down to make ATP and the process consumes oxygen, while expelling water. :)

mitochondria is an energy producing unit in a cell. the glucose is used to give food to the entire cell. and the waste product, which is water, is distributed into the cytoplasm of the cell.
