hi. i was wondering if anyone around the age of 16-19 who went to talk to your doctor about your depression. i get it pretty badly and i show for all the symtoms. do anti deprssants work?

hi- i'm not a teen anymore but i've been there. i wish i had seen a dr. when i was a teen. it would have saved me a lot of trouble as i got older. if you are feeling depressed, don't let people tell you it's just growing pains or teen angst. it's as real as anything else.talk to your parents or another adult you can trust and see your dr.
anti-depressants do work! just be careful with them. best of luck to you. i truly hope you feel well soon.

Yah I'm a teenager too with depression. I got it really bad too. Ask your doctor about Lexapro. No joke it is the best, I'm not kidding when i say I have been taking it for 2 years and can't even remeber about my depression. So its LEXAPRO, just incase you wanted to know.
