85% of gay people do NOT molest kids, where do you get your facts from? That is just like saying that 85% of straights molest kids, come on, we all know that is goofy. People that molest kids are sick, just plain sick. Not because they are gay, not because they are straight, but because they are sick. i recently attended a training course on abused/ molested children and predators. it seems that the average child molester will molest 72 children in their life time. also, more than 90% of child molesters were molested as children. (this data retrieved from psychological interviews with child molesters, so it could only be a cop out) homosexuals that molest children are few and far between, unless you consider men who molest male children and females who molest female children "gay", which would be incorrect.

That statistic is way wrong, but to answer your question yes. Anyone who is molested repeatedly as a child, especially if they don't receive counseling for it, are much more likely to mimic the behavior in adulthood.

Alot (not all) of children that were abused as kids are straight, stay straight, get married to women and abuse them and the children they have. Alot the times that cycle continues unfortunately.
