That's only an answer you can give yourself. Ask yourself worse case scenario situations....as a pediatrician think of all the trouble kids can get into - infections, lacerations, screaming newborns with unknown causes. As an anestheiologist (which your spelling is wrong) can you handle administering drug to a severe car accident victim, or an epidural to a woman at the peak of her delivery.
Which would you get most joy out of...if you're looking for money, that will only last you a couple of year. Stability - there will always be work, depending on what kind of pediatrician you would like to be you may be on call all the time, my pediatrician ALWAYS takes her clients calls regardless of the time. Anesthesiologists vary - if you're in office then there are office hours working with a surgeon, if you are hospital then it's shifts just like a nurse/doctor.
You need to determine which will fulfill your needs most.

A pediatrician is a well being care expert, necessitating many extra years of training than a nurse (registered or approved prepare.) Any large city could pay a sturdy earnings to a pediatrician or a nurse, for that rely. for people who say a nurse gets paid extra, that would count number upon their shifts, contracts, differentials, etc. however the popular nurse requiring merely 2-4 years of faculty does not be paid the comparable as a chairman.

I am not sure but I do know that an anestheologist pays more in malpractice insurance.
PS if you are in it for the money then just get out now. You will never be happy.

Either one is a great field of work, and one that should be taken very seriously. A healthcare role is one you should carefully consider, as it is a highly respected career field. Choose what you will ultimately be happy doing~ and if you're in it only for the money~ I hope the hell that you're never me or my kids' doctor!

The work environment is radically different in these two positions - you need to consider that.
Would you rather work with screaming children or sedated patients being operated on?
Don't choose just for money. (Me, I'd pick the kids, but that's cuz I like them.)
