No, because there are no ions in there. Add some metals, or salt, or acid/base, and then it will. In tap water, there are those, so tap water does conduct electricity.

Water is only a conductor when electrolytes are present. Positively and negatively charged ions are necessary. Dissolving NaCl in distilled water will make it a conductor.

The more that is dissolved in water the better the 'solution' will conduct.
Distilled water has ions in it, thus it will conduct. Not great, but it will conduct.
You can get distilled and deionized water, that would be a tough substance to conduct electricity with.
Get an "A".

Not a very good one because it lacks electrolytes. Just plain tap water is actually better than distilled.

It shouldnt be since it contains no ions....but if you sit in a bath filled with distilled water and drop a mains powered device such as a radio....you will die!
