Since I didnt preorder neither system and dont plan on camping outside of stores, I decided to see if I can grab one of the "cheapest" systems on ebay. I've noticed on alot winning bids, the winners are usually people with 0 - 5 feedback or are a new ebay member registered less than 30 days. Is this a scam for both genuine eBay buyers and sellers?

no.

only trust those who have a known history (ie over 100 feedback, has a 98% positive rating and have recenlty had several auctions finish)

do not trust new sellers. they are most likely scammers.

and i wouldn't even bother in buy/bidding on a ps3 now. They'll be seling for more than what they are worth.

Always WAIT 3-4 months after release. ITs a KNOWN statistic that first GENERATION consoles have NUMEROUS problems.
