You are right, life does begin at conception, and killing innocent human beings is always wrong. I'm glad to hear that you are actually doing something about the killing, unlike people who are only pro-life in word and not in deed. Here's more food for thought:

And, oh, by the way, the so-called partial birth abortion ban is a scam. It's not truly a pro-life bill. Read this:

I believe it's absolutely an individual choice, contrary to what a lot of people in this country think. I personally don't think abortion is a good thing, I'd rather see people be much more careful in the first place so they're not thinking about abortion in the second place, but I don't feel I have the right to make that decision for them.

Its an inidividual matter. Like others have said, if you dont want an abortion dont get one. But what allows you to make that decision for others. Context is huge here.
Furthermore, its not JUST the women's right to choose, but also involves her partner and possbily her family. But once again, its their choice.
In terms of killing an "unborn" person and attributing "rights" to an unborn person, or stating human life begins at conception - well how far back do you go...why not say that carbon atoms, because they are the basis of life, also have life. The argument can get silly.
Or if one "prevents" conception from occuring, like by using a contraceptive, is that also murder since you prevented a life from forming, which is aka murder. According to the catholic church it is.
What science has done here is, I believe, is force us to make a "pragmatic" decsion on how to decide, and give that choice to inidividuals based on their beliefs.

I believe Abortion should be left legal, in accordance with Roe v Wade. I also believe that Abortion is not good. But, we must be prepared for a world... No. A life, where we make our choices, and let others make theirs. That is how it was always meant to be. Right, or wrong, we make our own choices.

I'm pro choice.
A woman has the right to choose early in the preganacy. Late term abortions, however, should be only in the case of threat to the mother's life.

I also am anti-abortion. As far as the semi birth thing goes,
I must admit I'm not aware of it.
I'll be checking the answers.
thanks

First of all the spell check is a wonderful tool - use it.
I respect those who do not want to have an abortion. It's a personal matter. It is not a matter for the government. Don't believe in abortion? Don't have one. Otherwise, leave people the hell alone.

If the fetus has a chance of surviving outside the womb, abortion is murder. Otherwise it is at best a tragedy. In rare cases it's the lesser tragedy.

So another person who thinks they are smart enough to make decisions for some one else. No one is asking you to get an abortion or chang your beliefs, we just want you to not make decisions for us you can't possibly know the circumstances of what bringing an unwanted life into the world would have on someone else and there life.
