Fireplace is better. Even though a heater makes sure the room is at perfect room temperature, a fireplace is more customary and traditional. It looks better and it gives off more heat even though you can exactly control how much heat it gives off. I love the look, smell and feeling of a fireplace, they are just too awesome.

I rather a heater, fireplaces make me feel scared, I fell like those could burn my house!, or my cat could get in it.

fireplaces are alot of fun:) You can snuggle by the fire with your hubby and have a glass of wine. Or play camping with the kids and roast marshmallows lol.
