You can probably find out about this sad accident in your nearest library (or the nearest library to where it happened) Ask the librarians to help and explain what you need to know. They can locate local papers for the date and lots of other stuff.

Have you other relatives, uncles and aunts on either side. They would be late sixties early seventies. Ask them. You already seem to have some accurate knowledge.

You can locate birth certs. marriage certs. and death certs. coroners reports, possibly police files since it all happened 33 years ago.

Good luck with your quest!

Firstly your question isn't well put. The brown jug area???? What town? What country? What is the Brown Jug - a bar, cafe, restaurant, district, or a jug of milk on the table??? Give us a clue.

Secondly, if you want info on a fatal accident 33 years ago I'd suggest you go to the local library and ask to see their microfile archives of local newspapers for around that date.

Where is the Brown Jug area? If in the UK what is the nearest large town?

I suggest that you search local newspapers which may well have an account of the accident. Also, contact the local coroner's office as they may have a copy of the inquest.

You would need to contact the County Coroner's office. Also, you can go to the local newspaper and look through their morgue of old articles. This "brown jug area" is not easy to find on the internet. Is it in North America?
