I've been to several large rock shows (four, with my fifth coming in three days, DISTURBED!!!) along with several local shows. I'm fourteen now, and started going to shows when I was almost thirteen. However, my dad always has to come with me and makes me sit in the seats instead of standing on the floor at shows at places like the Civic Center. Taste of Chaos is coming here this year and one of my all time favorite bands, the Used, is headlining and I really want to be on the floor to see them. I'm trying to convince my dad it is safe enough for me. I'm a girl, nearly 5'5", about 130 pounds, personally I think I can handle myself.

If you really want to get slammed around alot, then I guess it's ok to be on the floor. Personally, I prefer the seats, unless it's a place where you can only stand.
