i've always asked myself this question. see if kyou can make any sense of it.

It is so amazing that a squishy little piece of gray matter can hold such complex ideas and thoughts, and each individual's personality! It is all science--brain, neurons, chemistry, psychology...but i understand your amazement.

Have you held or even looked a human brain. It is not exactly solid.
It is maleable. It processes 33000 sensory inputs a second most
of them visual. It stores this information much the same way a computer does (just more effeciently).

But jaust as it is not necessary to understand how a computer works to use one, only that it does. It is not necessary to know
how the brain performs its various tasks you just need to know that it does, and very effeciently too.

thoughts are odd and if u start to think about how you have them the feeling may become odder or questions like... how I'm I here? why am I here??...etc... I don't have an actual answer though
