Well not necessarily. It depends on how big each song is. It can hold 2 gigs worth of songs. It might end up to be around 500 but it's just an estimate using an average song size.

a typical mp3 song is 3 or 4 megabytes long
say it is 4 megabytes, then there are 250 per gigabyte (1000 megabytes)
and 500 in 2 gigabytes
if the songs are shorter at 3 megabtes you will get about 333 per gigabyte
or 666 songs per 2 gigabytes
A typicall song is 3 minutes long, so you are looking at at least 1500 minutes or 25 straight hours of songs
