It really pisses me of that they can make cloths for small girls but not for over wait one, like me, because if they knew how heard it is to find cute, yet comfortable cloths than they would make more and they would make more money because there are more over wait people than small ones.

Women with few curves are easier to design for. Designing "plus" (which is really average) sized clothing makes more work for designers, pattern drafters, etc. It is much more simple to design for a woman who is basically straight up and down or who fits into a very restrictive set of measurements. A woman who is overweight may be bigger in the chest, midsection, or hips... it's more of a hit-or-miss endeavor to reach a wide audience.

Many designers actually do design plus and junior plus lines, but department stores refuse to stock them. This is what happened with J.Lo's and Tommy Hilfiger's plus jr. lines. The department stores refuse to stock jr. plus in the rest of the jr. department and try to keep the plus women's as small as possible, effectively shutting plus sizes out. Stores like Torrid exist to cater to jr. plus, but their prices are exorbitant (and because they essentially have a monopoly, they still get business) The thing to do is demand that department stores stock more plus and jr. plus sizes. That will show evidence of a market for buyers and pressure designers to put out quality products in more volume.

I think it is not only because they can use less fabric, but also because somehow society has managed to determine that skinny people work better for fashion. When you are slimmer, your body (and your bones) are able to achieve more angles than a larger person, and up until fairly recently fashion is all about the 'edge' that a model has. Another thing is that people who are plus size as well as petite models aren't even plus size or petite, like plus size models will be 5'7" and weigh 120 lb. and petite models will be 5'6". I know that everybody wants to wear designer, and right now the current fashions make it possible for overweight people to find cute clothes, even though they may not be designer. I know that Nordstrom has a nice selection of plus size wear that is actually plus size, and if you want something more affordable Target is great. Of course, if you get really frustrated consider working out and dieting to lose weight. Good luck!

Because, unless you are a size 0 or lower, you're a fat monstrocity and don't deserve to wear A&F or CK.

I'm slightly larger than average, and I know how you feel. There are some designers that make clothes in only plus sizes. If you want cute cloths that fit, go to either hottopic.com (They're girls shirts there come in 2x, also some shirts are multi-gender so you can buy a shirt in boys sizes, which are larger) or Fashion bug (I modeled for them once, and every single model could fit into something. Even the overweight ones)

When a fashion designer envisions an ensemble, he always dreams of it on a beautiful fragile girl. I mean, do you get dreams at night about chubby girls in beautiful clothing? The designers market clothing to a fashionable lot, which consists of mostly bulimic headcases. And also it probably costs less for less fabrics

Your right, there are not many big girl sizes out there in cute styles.
I have found some really cute clothes on goodysonline.com for my daughter.
