She's the cousin of the same cousins I have. I'm related to them through my dad's side. She is related to the same cousins through their mom's side. So, I'm of no relation to her. We don't have the same grandparents or anything, so not 2nd/3rd cousins. No relation at all. But it just seem too close for comfort. Is it wrong to like her? I thinks he likes me but she is too shy? Maybe shes thinking the same way I am? How to approach her? What to do?

**IMPORTANT FACTOR**
When we were younger we were like "best friends" or what ever you want to call it, and our parents would joke around saying "watch those two get married when they're older"
And... the people on my side of the family tease me about her and ask me if I like her and stuff. It's like they want me and her to get together, but I don't know. Need outside advice. I wonder if her family teases her too?
HELP.

She isn't blood related ,you like her, she likes you. Sounds to me like you answered your own question. Ask her to go somewhere with you. Go to a movie or some where the two of you can talk. Ask her, not us. She is the one who can tell you whether her feelings are the same as yours.

It's always hard for a person to ask another if they having feelings for them but honestly it's the only way ti truly find out. One thing you can do to bring it up, is by bringing conversation subjects about your family or her family and after a few mins of talking you can say something like, "You know it's kinda funny and odd that my parents/family tells me that I should go out with you. Do your parents/family ever do that to you?" and just gradually keep asking questions and find the answer to how she really feels. Hope that helps in some way. :) Oh, and it's not wrong to like your cousin's cousin, though your cousins' may find it weird to them.

It's not wrong to like her, that's just how you feel. My friend is in the same situation they are cousins but only by marriage, and they are together and they are going to have a baby. It does seem wierd because you are labeled as "cousins" but really there is no blood there, so it's not wrong. So i think it is okay to take things to the next level.

do you really like her? or is it because you've been teased about her?? nonetheless, if you're not related to her then you should actually tell her that u like her and ask her if she's also interested in u... but since you've been friends for a long time, i have to warn you that you're friendship WILL get affected either way...

no, not wrong to like. wrong if it goes further because it might cause family problems. People get wierded out about stuff like that and never get over it.
